Persons with special needs — physical, developmental, sensory, intellectual, and learning disabilities — constitute a significant but highly marginalized population in Nigeria. National estimates put the figure at over 25 million Nigerians, many facing systemic barriers to education, healthcare, employment, social integration, and dignity.
Families of children and adults with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, hearing and speech impairments, and other conditions often struggle with inadequate support systems, stigma, and limited access to early intervention. Angel Michael Foundation exists to change that — through service delivery, advocacy, and empowerment.
